Back in the Saddle....
Well after a 6 month hiatus, I have decided to give this blogging thing another try. I have truly been inspired by my future brother-in-law's blog which I have mentioned a few times already on this blog. He has a true talent for story telling which you see very quickly when you visit....
I have decided that I am going to continue with my movie reviews and also begin book reviews. I heard a speaker a while ago explain that "if you leave the scene of a good book but you haven't changed then you didn't get it!" He goes on to explain that it's not enough to just read, but you must discuss and really think about how you're going to apply any practices and principals that you read about.
So having said all that I will leave today's post with a quote from one of my favorite "quotable" people. It's from the book "Failing Forward" by John C. Maxwell:
Failure is really a matter of conceit. People don't work hard because, in their conceit, they imagine they'll succeed without ever making an effort. Most people believe that they'll wake up some day and find themselves rich. Actually, they've got it half right, because eventually they do wake up.
That's it for now.
